Arno’s mission is to enable everyone in the world to learn English. We’re a profitable, bootstrapped company with almost 200,000 users in over 200 countries. Currently, our product helps people get ready for the Duolingo English Test, an English proficiency test that is quickly overtaking older tests like TOEFL and IELTS. Our users’ favorite feature in Arno is the personalized feedback we provide on their writing and speaking using large language models (LLMs).
The team consists of just the founders, Makoto and Otto. We already have a strong presences on SEO and on YouTube. We want to get some help using social media to get more users. That’s where you come in 🙂
In a nutshell, Otto will generate the raw footage. He will hand that over to you and you will work with our video editors to turn those into short-form social media content. Then, you will be responsible for posting the content to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, including writing the titles and descriptions. In addition, we want to hear your suggestions for how we can improve our social media presence. It would be our dream to have someone own our social media motion, so this is very much a position where you will have room to shine and will be rewarded with more and more responsibility.
We value hunger, work ethic, and the ability to learn more than experience. This is especially true in the realm of social media, which is constantly changing.
This position will pay $20 per hour, up to 10 hours per week. However, as the business grows, so will our marketing budget.
